For the first various artists compilation of the label aspect:ratio I created the motion design for the release reels. The starting point was the label's black and white key visual: soft spheres on a grainy surface.
On top of it I built a motion system of thin line structures that grow, fold and wander across the frame, together with animated artist names and track titles in a small monospace type. Everything was built and rendered in TouchDesigner. Every track got its own reel, so the seven videos work as one series while each still stands on its own.
