About

Carlo Seemann is an interactive media designer based in Bielefeld, Germany, working at the intersection of light, sound and space.

He develops interactive video and light installations for festivals, light festivals and public space. His systems react to movement, proximity and collective behaviour and work without needing an explanation. Recent work has been shown at Fusion Festival, Nachtansichten Bielefeld and the Wissenswerkstatt Bielefeld.

For club culture he builds complete event worlds: visual identities, poster series, reels, live visuals and light and stage design on site. With a background in music production, sound is an integral part of his installations.

His work is shaped by an interest in space, minimalism and noise: reduced, precise visual and sonic structures that come alive through participation. He is completing his Bachelor's degree in Digital Media and Experiment at HSBI Bielefeld.
