Bielefeld Redux was commissioned by Provisuell GmbH for the interactive tour at Wiesenbad as part of Nachtansichten Bielefeld. The work reimagines the architectural identity of the city through a minimalist, data-inspired visual language: the Sparrenburg, the SchücoArena, the Rudolf-Oetker-Halle and the television tower are abstracted into compositions of points and lines.
Visitors moving through the interactive zone are tracked and subtly distort and reshape the digital architecture. The result is a living, responsive map of Bielefeld and an ongoing dialogue between architecture, technology and its inhabitants.
