For not exist e.V. I designed the complete stage for an open air beneath a concrete motorway bridge in Bielefeld. The raw architecture with its massive pillars, low concrete ceiling and wide sightlines became the starting point for the whole concept.
The space was first built as a 3D model to plan positions, beam angles and atmosphere before anything was rigged. Truss towers with industrial pendant lamps frame the DJ, moving heads and beams cut through the haze under the ceiling, and fire and warm blinders turn the grey concrete into a glowing hall. The renders also served as the basis for the event graphics.
